The Product is USP Pharma Grade Propylene Glycol.

100% Bio-Based

Ayas Biorenewable Propylene Glycol is made from 100% natural, bio-based feedstocks such as glycerin and sorbitol.

NO Petroleum

Glycerin is a byproduct of oil seed processing and produced whenever a fat is split; for example, soap manufacturing and biofuel production both produce glycerin as a byproduct.

FDA Approved

Propylene glycol is a biodegradable ingredient approved by the U.S. FDA for human consumption since 1982.

100% Biodegradable

Propylene glycol is a biodegradable solvent that helps ingredients mix and stay mixed, stabilizes moisture levels, and extends shelf life.

Environmentally Friendly

Propylene Glycol is safer for consumption and the environment and replaces other chemicals where there can be run-off into water supply.

Ayas BioRenewable Propylene Glycol is also used in Industrial Applications.

As a biodegradable liquid that is safe for the environment, propylene glycol has replaced toxic ethylene-based fluids in liquid anti-freeze applications where there could be runoff into ground water and mixing with potable water.

Salt and propylene glycol are both used in food and beverage products. Like salt, propylene glycol can be used as an environmentally safe freeze point depressant.

Today, airplane deicing fluid is typically 88% propylene glycol. You will also find Propylene Glycol in and around water pipes and HVAC systems to protect them from freezing.

My dream and vision for founding Ayas Renewables continues today, and that is to bring a “biorenewable” propylene glycol-based airplane deicing fluid to market replacing current petrochemical based deicing fluids.
